A Community Gathering Space for Connection, Wellness, Creativity, and Culture

Located within the Park County Senior Center in downtown Livingston

Executive Summary

The Hub Club Cafe is a proposed community-centered café and gathering space to be developed within the Park County Senior Center in downtown Livingston, Montana.

Located on the highly visible corner of Main Street and Lewis Street, the space features large street-facing windows and strong downtown visibility that naturally support foot traffic, visibility, and community engagement.

The Hub Club Cafe is designed to become an extension of The Hub vision currently being developed within the Senior Center — a place centered around wellness, belonging, creativity, human connection, and intergenerational community engagement.

Our Vision

The Hub Club Cafe is not intended to be simply another coffee shop.

It is designed to become a welcoming multi-generational community gathering space that strengthens social connection, reduces isolation, supports wellness, and expands the role of the Senior Center as an active and vibrant part of the Livingston community.

The goal is to create an environment where people feel welcomed, connected, and encouraged to stay, interact, and participate.

The Hub Club Cafe will help bridge generations by creating shared space for seniors, students, artists, families, and community members.

Why This Project Matters

Communities across the country continue to face increasing social isolation among both seniors and youth.

At the same time, many small towns like Livingston lack welcoming evening gathering spaces that are affordable, safe, accessible, and community centered.

Connection

Creates more opportunities for social interaction, belonging, and stronger intergenerational connection within the community.

Accessible Gathering

Provides affordable food and beverage options in a safe, welcoming, community-centered downtown space.

Evening Programming

Supports evening cultural, arts, wellness, and community programming in Livingston.

Existing Infrastructure Advantage

Beginning May 1st, the Park County Senior Center will regain access to its full commercial kitchen facility following the relocation of the Meals on Wheels program.

This provides The Hub Club Cafe with access to substantial existing food service infrastructure, including a fully equipped commercial kitchen, large-scale food preparation capability, walk-in refrigeration, expanded dry storage capacity, and commercial-grade food preparation equipment.
